A year ago, Russell Weiner – billionaire founder of Rockstar Energy Drink – decided to treat himself to an award-winning US$39.6 million (AU$58 million) ski mansion located at Park City, Utah. Now, having apparently never been slept in this “better than new” property nestled mountainside at the base of Monitor Bowl, it’s officially back on the market.

“This home has been designed to be the finest expression of mountain living anywhere… [a] true legacy-quality modern compound on five ski-in/ski-out acres located within the exclusive gated enclave of The Colony at White Pine Canyon and provides stunning views of Monitor Bowl and the ski resort,” describes the Engel & Volkers listing.

“The timeless architecture offers world-class amenities paired with the finest materials and craftsmanship, including Italian steel windows and, Croatian limestone, shou sugi ban charred cypress, and a full copper roof combined with an innovative and cohesive layout for a seamless flow throughout almost 18,000 square feet of living space.”

Aside from the six bedrooms – each one with its very own terrace and outdoor fire pit – 11 gorgeous wood-rich bathrooms, and incredibly serene backdrop, notable features include the following:

  • Library w/ goatskin parchment wall panelling
  • 60ft indoor-outdoor stainless steel pool
  • Wellness spa w/ gym
  • Himalayan salt room
  • Cold plunge pool
  • Hot tub
  • Hammam
  • Infrared sauna
  • Massage room
  • Indoor sports court w/ volleyball/basketball/pickle ball/climbing wall
  • Golf simulator
  • Bowling alley
  • Versatile living-media room hybrid w/ Steinway-Lyngdorf audio + 200-inch Barco 4K digital cinema laser projection system
  • Panoramic tower “situated above the trees to take-in the breathtaking views”

When Russell Weiner first purchased his Park City ski mansion, it was the most expensive home sale in all of Utah. Should Mr Weiner receive anything even remotely close to the current US$50 million (AU$73.2 million) asking price, he’ll only be shattering his own record.
