On Friday, Tesla unveiled their latest all-electric whip, the Model Y, but the real head turner for sneaker fans was the Tesla branded De Marco custom Air Jordan 1’s.
LA-based sneaker customiser Marco Acosta designed the pair for Elon Musk at the request of a friend, taking cues from the billionaire CEO’s Tesla Roadster. Constructed from Horween Leather Shell Cordovan for the toebox topped with a laser-cut Tesla logo and Swoosh are made from red metallic leather. The remainder of the black uppers is made using a combination of python leather and pony hair.
