Jaguar Land Rover has this morning confirmed the specifications for their MY21 Land Rover Defender range here in Australia, which includes the long-awaited Defender 90 pricing.
The MY21 Defender 90 pricing will start in Australia from $71,500 and the Defender 110 will be available from $74,500.
New to the MY21 year will be a powerful in-line six-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine across all three diesel powertrains, as well as a four-cylinder P300 petrol engine.
The current D200 and D240 variants will become D200 (147kW/500Nm) and D250 (183kW/570Nm) models for 2021. The range-topper for the diesel lineup is a new D300 (220kW/650Nm) engine.
These sit alongside two petrol Defender options including the new four-cylinder P300 (221kW/400Nm) and the established six-cylinder P400 (294kW/550Nm) engines, both with MHEV (Mild-hybrid) technology.
As of next year, yet another cosmetic trim option will be available to Defender customers known as the X-Dynamic Pack. It’s available on both Defender 90 and 110 models, offering a selection of exterior and interior design enhancements including a silicon satin front, rear skid pans, matching grille bar and badging, and satin dark grey/gloss black finished allow wheels.
Three new exterior colours have also been added to the range, including Yulong White, Silicon Silver and Carpathian Grey, all available in combination with a choice of contrast roof finishes.
