This debate is subjective, there’s no doubt about that. It’s also contentious and somewhat limiting given we’re only talking cars to the value of $100,000 Aussie dollars here rather than USD.
No matter, we’ll be straight up. We think the best sounding new car for less than sub $100k is the Audi RS3. We’ve also driven the M2, however, and would say that gives it a solid run for its money. The biggest issue you’ll have when tossing up the two options below is that you can never adequately capture an exhaust sound in a YouTube video. Guess you’ll just have to go test drive both for yourself to confirm.
