First revealed at the recent 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival, the team at Princess Yachts have added to their Y Class range with the announcement of the all-new 25.5m Y80 yacht. Boasting a greater range of customizability across a number of different areas of the vessel, the Princess Y80 yacht aims to be as versatile as possible while also offering clients the freedom and flexibility to design something that is distinctly their own.
With clean lines throughout the Olesinski Ltd designed exterior and a set of spectacular continuous windows that wrap around the cabin, the main attraction of the Y80 is the three different in-house designed cockpit configurations that clients can choose from, each of which has its own benefits. They include a traditional U-shaped dining setup that accommodates space for storage for two SeaBobs, an entertainment-focused option with a central cockpit table and free-standing furniture, or an “infinity cockpit” with electric furniture that can clear away at the touch of a button to create a relaxed lounge space.
The highly configurable yacht enjoys a foredeck with a large seating area for up to 10 people to lounge in the sun, while the main deck is where you’ll find the spacious saloon, cockpit, galley and more. A total of four double cabins with ensuites can be found on the lower deck, which includes the palatial master stateroom suite, allowing for a total of eight guests to sleep on the Y80.

The Princess Y80 yacht also arrives with a full wet bar for shaking the odd cocktail or two as you entertain your nearest and dearest, a significant space to enjoy the sun on the flybridge, as well as space for a four-meter tender when you drop anchor off-shore. With an impressive top speed of between 30-32 knots, the Y80 is powered by twin MAN V12 1800 engines in the forward and aft engine room bulkheads.
It’s a thoughtful new platform from Princess Yachts, with the Y80 prioritising customizability and bespoke details to win over the hearts of clients. The boatbuilder has already started fulfilling orders, with the first example expected to be delivered in August next year, so if you’re contemplating a personalised boat this could be exactly what you’ve been searching for.
