We still can’t tell you what the 25th film in the Bond franchise will be called (it’s getting a bit silly, right?), but we can confirm that Aston Martin’s classically V8 Vantage will return as Bond’s car of choice for at least part of the upcoming action flick.
Not since Timothy Dalton’s The Living Daylights has this era of the Vantage bloodline starred onscreen next to the British spy. Last week, however, it was papped hammering the iconic coastline of Norway’s fjords, the current filming location of Bond 25.
It was widely reported earlier in the year that the film was rumoured to feature the new Aston Martin Rapide E all-electric sedan. This local footage of helicopters chasing a classic Vantage along the unique and sometimes treacherous Atlantic Ocean Road would suggest otherwise, however.
