With its scheduled reveal date just over a week away, leaked photos of the 2023 BMW M3 CS have surfaced on the Bimmerpost forums and the all-new green machine looks like an absolute treat. Hot on the heels of the BMW i Vision Dee concept, the car was meant to first be seen at the 24 Hours Of Daytona event, however, the leaked images reveal a number of design tweaks to the front end of the car and some speculation about what’s beneath the bonnet.
The major updates are a more aggressively angular front bumper, yellow daytime running lights and red trim around the double kidney grille, while the interior boasts a set of front carbon fibre bucket seats and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifting. As far as the driver’s infotainment system, the BMW Curved Display centres around a 12.3-inch instrument cluster screen and a 14.9-inch entertainment touchscreen, while the rear bench seats appear consistent with some previous generations.
While these details are yet to be confirmed, it’s understood the 2023 BMW M3 CS will be an all-wheel drive powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine, which is capable of delivering 405kW of power that translates roughly to a 3.5-second 0-100km/h time. We only need to wait a week for full confirmation from BMW, with pricing to be revealed then.
