BMW’s M2 has been one surprisingly successful set of wheels for the German powerhouse. More than 12,000 units sold worldwide last year, making it the most popular M variant of 2017.
In celebration of such success and to fuel the demand of many possible M2 owners, BMW has announced that the second quarter of 2018 will see a beastly murdered-out special edition on showroom floors.
The coupe’s ‘Black Shadow’ edition boasts the same 370 horses at the rear as its flagship origins, racing to 100km/h in a squirt of just 4.3 seconds. The murdered-out version boasts some menacing selective design features unique to its edition, however, including a sapphire black metallic finish, carbon mirrors and a carbon rear diffuser finished with black chrome tips on the exhausts.
Towards the front, you’ll find a high gloss black grill for the M kidney and trim bars. Below, 19-inch matte black light allow wheels with a Y-spoke design encompass some subtle midnight blue callipers.
The BMW M2 Black Shadow Edition is available from April 2018.
