Mean aftermarket outfitter Brabus continues to bring the goods with its latest creation being an incredible reworking of a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, known as the ‘800’. Released ahead of its showing at the Top Marques Monaco 2019, Brabus has totally reinvented this stylish four-door Merc, turning it into one of the fastest sedans ever built.
The four-litre twin-turbo V8 engine has been completely overhauled to give 800 horsepower (hence its namesake), 1000Nm of torque and the ability to do the 0-100 dash in just 2.9 seconds. That’s bonkers for a four-door sedan. It also has an incredible top speed of 315 km/h, making it an absolute road warrior.
Brabus has also gone to work on the Merc’s exterior, adding an aggressive carbon fibre bodykit, a stainless steel exhaust system with two settings, “Coming Home” and “Sport,” and Brabus’ Monoblock Z Platinum Edition wheels, which are 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. The interior comes in black and white leather and includes an assortment of Brabus badges adorning the seats.
While there’s no price-tag for this incredible piece of machinery as yet, you’d be naive to think that it’ll come cheap.
