Everyone has at least a small understanding of Dubai’s fascination of fast cars, big cats and larger than life lifestyle.
It has now been taken to the next level; introducing the newest addition to Dubai Police’s Super Car Partrol, the BMW i8.
The BMW i8 is now part of a fleet that includes a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF and Bugatti Veyron. It is easy to understand why Dubai’s major highway, Sheikh Zayed Road, once the most dangerous road in the world is now a safe place. You’re simply not going to risk being run down by an angry Policeman in a Lamborghini.
What is the fleet’s purpose you ask? It is to promote the image of the authorities and encourages the public to interact with police. It patrols heritage sites and tourist areas.
It is safe to say that Dubai Police have achieved their goal.
