For those of you who missed out on snapping up undercover LAPD police officer turned FBI agent Brian O’Conner’s (Paul Walker) iconic 1994 Toyota Supra from The Fast & The Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious… there’s good news: the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 driven by him in Fast & Furious 4 is now headed to auction.
“The Nissan Skyline GT-R is widely lauded as one of the greatest Japanese motor cars of all time and has indubitably earned the title of modern classic, both for its looks and its performance,” reads the official listing posted by Bonhams.
“Bonhams now has the privilege to offer what is surely one of the most desirable and significant examples of the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R ever built, with extraordinary provenance and unparalleled cultural caché.”

According to Bonhams, this very sports car – affectionately referred to as “Godzilla” – was imported to the US by Japan’s Kaizo Industries without an engine, thereby allowing the company to circumvent strict import laws and sell the chassis as a kit car.
Once it arrived, the standard Nissan Skyline GT-R 2.6-litre, twin-turbo six-cylinder RB26 engine capable of generating 276 BHP and hitting a top speed of 155 MPH was installed, along with an entire host of modifications chosen by the late Paul Walker himself ahead of production (i.e. body kit, custom suspension, engine tuning, Volk Racing wheels, etc).
Bonhams added: “The R34 received a number of updates over its relatively short production run of four years with suspension and bodywork revisions in addition to interior upgrades. It is widely lauded as a true driver’s car… the admired six-speed Getrag gearbox, pedals, and steering working in harmony for an irresistibly attractive driving experience.”
While a pricing estimate has not been outlined, given the popularity of the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and the provenance associated with both Paul Walker and the multi-billion-dollar Fast & Furious film franchise, expect this one to spark an all-out bidding war – find out more below.
