In observance of its 75th anniversary, Ferrari is slated to unveil its inaugural Universo exhibition later this year. From November 26 to 29, the marque’s clientele (and on the final day, members of the public) will be invited to partake in “a highly immersive experience” in Sydney, centring on Ferrari’s heritage and a number of notable launches – the first time an exhibition of this kind has been held outside of Maranello.
Hosted by the Australian Turf Club (at Royal Randwick racecourse) Universo Ferrari will be split into multiple curated areas, designed to “take in all aspects” of Ferrari’s operations. For students of automotive history, the exhibition promises a victory lap of the Scuderia’s activities in engineering and competition racing; while clout chasers will be thrilled to note that Universo Ferrari is also serving as the launchpad for not one, but two new product releases.

Crucially, the exhibition will offer audiences in the southern hemisphere their first look at the much-publicised (and controversial) Purosangue. To juxtapose the populist appeal of this 4-door road car, Ferrari will also be showcasing the Daytona SP3 – the third release in its ‘Icona’ series, conceived as an ultra-limited tribute to the marque’s iconic P4 racing cars.

Given the centrality of racing to the Ferrari legacy, upon arrival visitors will begin their journey through Maranello’s universe with a guided tour of Scuderia Ferrari – Formula 1’s oldest and most highly decorated racing team. That space segues into Ferrari Classiche: a showcase of the brand’s iconic heritage vehicles, and the stories of those factory experts responsible for their restoration. Separate areas catering to those who wish to learn more about Ferrari’s client racing programs and “Tailor Made” personalisation will form the exhibition’s tail-end.
As previously alluded to, existing Ferrari customers will be getting an exclusive first look between November 26 and 28. For those whose interest is sufficiently piqued, tickets are now available (priced at $50) via the link below.
