When you know what you like, why settle for anything else? That was probably the logic behind Flexjet CEO Kenn Ricci’s decision to achieve what is arguably the biggest material flex of 2022: customising his brand new Gulfstream G650 and Sikorsky S-76 helicopter to match his Bentley Bacalar.
Last year, after being a loyal Bentley customer for over a decade, Kenn Ricci launched The Bacalar Project along with engineers from Mulliner Design’s in-house team to make his bespoke dream come true. And the results are stunning.

The rare and distinctive paint colour option of Julep, which was specifically chosen by the aviation entrepreneur for his Bacalar, inspired quite a unique change to the Flexjet livery. Normally a red-gold chameleon, Ricci has opted to go with a silver-green chameleon paint for the key accents.
Onto the matter of the Gulfstream’s interior, according to Bentley, the copperhead shape and basket weave stitching on the linen and Beluga leather trimmed seats of the coachbuilt Bacalar are what the private jet’s seats are modelled after. These same seats can be found in Ricci’s Sikorsky S-76.
“The 5,000-year-old reclaimed riverwood that forms the handcrafted veneer of the Bacalar inspired the matching wood veneer species used in both aircraft,” explains Bentley.
“Satin Bacalar Bronze fittings adorn the cabins, as well as unique diamond-carved carpet.”

Now, you’d think that customising a private jet and helicopter would be more labour intensive and time consuming than producing a road-legal luxury car. But no.
Hilariously enough, Kenn Ricci has taken delivery on his Gulfstream G650 and Sikorsky S-76 helicopter before being handed the keys to his own Bentley Bacalar, which is still receiving a few finishing touches (the completed example pictured in this article apparently belongs to someone else).
And should the desire to experience said Gulfstream and Sikorsky first-hand ever arise, you’ll be happy to learn both aircrafts will soon be joining the Flexjet fleet, available to hire by you and your more well-heeled mates.
