Regular readers of Boss Hunting will know we’re big fans of the work that Aussie eFoil company Fliteboard is doing (take a look at our hands-on review from their factory in Byron Bay here), offering a market-leading range of all-electric foiling boards. This week the brand announced its all-new Fliteboard Series 3, offering a host of fresh models that each offer something new and exciting.

The Fliteboard Series 3 range includes a compelling base model, with upgrades possible including the PRO model for freestyle surfing aimed at those with a little more experience, the high-performance ULTRA boasting a lengthy 80cm mast, and the brand new (impressively lightweight) ULTRA L. The range also includes the original Fliteboard AIR with an inflatable board that makes it the perfect ride to learn the ropes of eFoil surfing.

All of the new Fliteboard Series 3 range (other than the AIR) feature either carbon fibre or fibreglass board constructions and are powered by an electric motor with Dual Drive technology, which allows you to easily switch between jet and propeller propulsion. Depending on how long you want to ride, Fliteboard has either the 6.2kg Flitecell Nano battery pack (45 minutes between charges) or the Flitecell Explore battery pack (up to 2.5 hours of riding). Prices start from $15,495 for the base model and the PRO, and go up to $20,995 for the cutting-edge ULTRA L.
