Automakers love a PR stunt – the beauty of carte blanche budgets, no? In the last few years, we’ve seen Jaguar break a world record for the furthest barrel roll with an E-Pace SUV and Land Rover climb 999 steps up a 45-degree mountain in China.
This, however, is something slightly different for your Tuesday. It’s a tricked up Honda lawnmower doing 0-100 mph (160km/h) in just 6.12 seconds. That’s twice as fast as a Subaru WRX STI (12.9 seconds) and still faster than Honda’s own supercar, the NSX (7.2 seconds).
And, if you were wondering, that’s a new world record for the world’s fastest lawnmower.
