While many of you may already be familiar with the Moore Park institution – to the point where you’ve practically memorised every turn, apex, and straight – the team is upping the ante with 25 new track layouts that will be drivable from late February.

Essentially, you’re getting 25 race tracks that are longer, wider, faster, more challenging, and best of all, more overtake-friendly than ever before, in one conveniently placed location. And if that still isn’t enough variability for you, each track can even be raced in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
The configuration changes twice weekly (during off-peak periods; follow @hyperkarting on socials for updates), meaning you’ll no longer be able to rely on track familiarity alone; and be forced to test your adaptability and racecraft more than ever if you want that podium finish.

The venue itself has also upped the vibe factor with a slew of atmospheric upgrades: from the holographic additions to the karts and barriers to the improved lighting fit-out, mirrors, TVs, speakers… it’s just another compelling reason to make a day of it at the Entertainment Quarter.
Bonus: with Hyper Karting’s gift cards, you can quite literally give your friends and family all of the above. The perfect gift for any occasion.

As something of a gaming mecca for Sydneysiders, Hyper Karting has seen a remarkable evolution since opening as a COVID-era innovation.
In addition to a pumping indoor go-kart track where you can throttle state-of-the-art electric race rigs, what was once a vacant carpark now houses a full-blown arcade, as well as a delightfully immersive free-roam virtual reality arena that offers the following…
- Death Squad (essentially Call of Duty: Zombies)
“Team up and survive against the undead horde as they swarm your base. Earn money as you kill zombies to unlock new areas and buy powerful weapons. Can you hold on until the extraction team arrives? On Special Request: Survival Mode – How many waves can you last? Watch out! If you all die you’ll be sent back to Round 1. Can you beat the record?” - CyberClash
“Earn bragging rights against your mates in these Player vs Player games. Choose between Free-For-All, Team Deathmatch, Archery, King Of The Hill, or Battle Royale. Played in a virtual 50-metre x 50-metre arena, positioning is key to make sure you come out on top of the leaderboard.” - Kitchen Panic
“Ever wanted to increase your culinary skills? Keep calm under pressure and quickly produce the finest dishes Paris has to offer before the customers run out of patience. Chop, cook, and throw ingredients at your teammates to get the meals served before the timer runs out!”
There are certainly worse ways to pass the time. Just ask Hasbulla.
