Bandit9 has a well-proven track record for producing some of the most exciting vehicle designs in the world today, from its early L-Concept motorbike to the more recent Bandit9 Nano electric scooter, and the all-new Bandit9 EVE Odyssey motorbike only cements this legacy. From its chromed-out bullet-shaped body to the aerodynamic forks, the Bandit9 EVE Odyssey motorbike looks like it should be at home on The Naboo Royal Starship from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
This distinct and futuristic design language is thanks to the noted bike builder Daryl Villanueva and his Ho Chi Minh-based team at Bandit9, with the EVE Odyssey actually builds on a 2014 design with a similarly shaped bodywork but a slightly more steampunk aesthetic thanks to its exposed piping and spoked wheels. The latest version takes the design into a sleeker, cleaner future with the bodywork constructed from the same space-grade aluminium NASA used for its spacecraft, containing all of the lighting, steering components and petrol tank.
Powered by a 4-speed manual 125cc engine with top speeds of 110km/h, it is quite efficient with a range of more than 66kms to the litre of fuel and weighs in at 120kgs. You certainly aren’t going to see too many of the Bandit9 EVE Odyssey motorbike on the roads of Australia, but if you love its design as much as we do you could well be the first Aussie to pull out their wallet.
