Currently on a press tour promoting his upcoming film, John Wick 3 – Parabellum, Keanu Reeves let the folks at GQ into his garage to show off his impressive motorcycle collection.
Reeves, an avid two-wheeler fan who’s been accumulating a variety of bikes over the years, is also co-founder of acclaimed L.A. custom chopper shop Arch Motorcycle. It’s here in the garage Reeves takes GQ on a tour of his collection, explaining his love for motorcycles and how a “young woman” first taught him to ride while filming a movie overseas way back in 1986.

The talented actor and all-around nice guy goes on to reveal the first motorcycle he ever bought was a 1973 Norton Commando, with his second, a 1973 Norton Commando 850, still in top-notch condition in the garage. “It’s got a nice sound,” Reeves gushes. “It smells good when it heats up the oil. And I got a lot of miles on that motorcycle.”
Some of Reeves’ personal favourites are bikes made by his company, including the 2019 Arch KRGT-1, 2019 Arch1S and prototype Method 143, along with the 2004 Ducati 998 Matrix Reloaded Edition that Carrie-Anne Moss rode in The Matrix Reloaded.
And Reeves’ advice to anyone looking to purchase their first motorcycle?
“Be comfortable on it, don’t get too much power that can overwhelm you too quickly, and, uh, have fun.” Enough said.
