Oceanco Raise The Bar Yet Again With This Devilish 344ft Behemoth

— Updated on 11 March 2020

Oceanco has made a splash at day one of the Dubai International Boat Show after unveiling their 334ft superyacht Esquel. This is the ultimate explorer’s yacht catering to those after more than just a breezy sail of the Italian coastline while sun baking on the top deck.

Designed by Timur Bozca and Gina Brennan, Esquel is powered by a sustainable diesel-electric engine designed by Lateral Naval Architects and Engineering with a range of 7,000 nm at 13 knots, meaning you can pretty much travel to any destination on the globe you desire.

The 104-metre (344ft) ship is one of the most menacing yachts from the Dutch shipyard with a tough black finish and enough gadgets and helipads to fuel a Bond villain’s Hollywood-esque crusade.

The ice-strengthened hull is battle-tested for only the most extreme conditions and an advanced dynamic positioning system means that there’s no need to drop anchor in sensitive areas. Not only that, the Esquel can also accommodate a land vehicle and motorbikes as well as carry and deploy not one, but two submarines, making it the ultimate adventure accessory.

Unlike the cold and brutal exterior, inside is warm and inviting, mixing wood features with organic colour schemes. The master suite has a panoramic portal for dynamic ocean views while the lounge room includes a cosy fireplace. There’s also a sundeck, jacuzzi, pool and wellness area for those times you just want to take it easy.

While there’s no word on how much this baby will set you back, considering the size and technology included, you’re probably looking at forking our around $145 million, the same price as the Illusion Plus yacht that was the talk of the town at last years Monaco Yacht Show.
