Cosmetics billionaire and Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star, Kylie Jenner, celebrated her 22nd birthday in style this past weekend with a Mediterranean cruise onboard the 300-foot superyacht Tranquility.
Built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco and taking to the seas in 2014, the extravagant vessel has a range of 5,000 nautical miles and is built with an ice-classed hull for true exploratory sailing, along with two helipads.
Jenner and her entourage aren’t likely getting that adventurous, however, with the charter commissioned for a leisurely cruise through the Mediterranean, more specifically the Ligurian Sea and the Italian coastline.
Arranged by Camper & Nicholsons, Tranquility can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests across 9 cabins. The interiors were conceived by Andrew Winch Designs Ltd and are championed by the massive master bedroom that boasts 180-degree views and a freestanding marble bathtub.
Tranquillity is complete with all the trimmings for a lush week on the water, including a Turkish bath, sauna, gym, massage room, “experiential” showers, and a plunge pool. The Lucite grand piano also has to be seen to be believed.
The gorgeous Oceanco creation has only just resurfaced on the charter market after being the centre of the well-publicised 1MBD financial scandal last year. Previously called Equanimity and allegedly owned by fugitive banker Low Taek Jho, the yacht was seized by Indonesian authorities off the coast of Bali and then sold off to casino and theme park owners Genting Group in a fire-sale for US$126 million.
Tranquility has since found a new lease of life and is available for charter from €1.1 million EUR per week.
