McLaren Automotive has launched a web series covering what makes the very technology within their supercars significant. The newly released second episode places principle designer Esetban Palazzo in the spotlight to discuss the coveted McLaren Senna GTR.
With just 75 models in the world, each and every one of these fine vehicles were sold before a model was even produced. Unsurprising given it’s the automaker’s fastest track vehicle to date.
The McLaren Senna GTR houses a 4L twin-turbocharged V8, capable of producing 814 horsepower with just a touch under 800 Nm. Achieving 0-100 km/h in an incredible 2.8 seconds, one of its more notable features is a multi-tiered carbon fibre pedestal wing which introduces 2,205 pounds of downforce for additional stability.
