Valparaiso Cerro Abajo: The World’s Most Epic Downhill Mountain Bike Race

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In its 15th year, Red Bull’s annual urban downhill race Valparaiso Cerro Abajo has again proven why this Heritage Site is the ultimate destination for absolute lunatics on mountain bikes. The seaport town of Chile’s Valparaiso is home to what is regarded as one of the toughest and most incredible downhill races in the world.

This year’s winner was Czech rider, Tomáš Slavík, and thanks to his helmet-mounted GoPro, we’re given an exhilarating view of his run around testing corners, over pot holes, through houses and down stairs in the epic 1.8km race.
