- Regarded as the very apex of professional golfing achievement, the Masters Tournament comes with considerable prize money to match the prestige.
- In 2025, Rory McIlroy completes the career Grand Slam at Augusta National, securing US$4.2 million from the total US$21 million prize pool (along with his brand-new green jacket).
- This year’s winning share represents an increase compared to what Scottie Scheffler pocketed in 2024 (US$3.6 million), and particularly the 2020 sum earned by Justin Johnson (US$1.8 million).
11 years since the last time he won a major, Rory McIlroy finally achieved his long-awaited career Grand Slam at Augusta National Golf Course – making him the first European pro golfer to ever accomplish a career Grand Slam in the process.
