  • Regarded as the very apex of professional golfing achievement, the Masters Tournament comes with considerable prize money to match the prestige.
  • In 2025, Rory McIlroy completes the career Grand Slam at Augusta National, securing US$4.2 million from the total US$21 million prize pool (along with his brand-new green jacket).
  • This year’s winning share represents an increase compared to what Scottie Scheffler pocketed in 2024 (US$3.6 million), and particularly the 2020 sum earned by Justin Johnson (US$1.8 million).

11 years since the last time he won a major, Rory McIlroy finally achieved his long-awaited career Grand Slam at Augusta National Golf Course – making him the first European pro golfer to ever accomplish a career Grand Slam in the process.

But the elusive green jacket and a cemented legacy aren’t the only things he’ll be walking away with from the incredibly dramatic 89th edition of the esteemed Masters Tournament. As per the official distribution of the US$21 million purse, the Irish talent has also earned a US$4.2 million payday.

The LIV-signed Justin Rose, however, will be licking his wounds US$2,268,000 richer, while Patrick Reed, last year’s winner Scottie Scheffler, Sungjae Im, and Bryson DeChambeau take home US$1,428,000, US$1,008,000, US$840,000, and US$840,000, respectively.
