We have no idea how they linked up. Perhaps being a celebrity really is like being in the cool clique of a global high school. But in any case, Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake are opening a 20,000-square-foot “golf-infused” hangout spot dubbed T-Squared Social this week.
Conceptualised in collaboration with New York-based design studio ForrestPerkins, and established in partnership with NEXUS Luxury Collection and 8AM Golf, it aims to redefine the “multi-dimensional dining experience” with elevated cuisine (four dining areas, including a 12-seat “vault” room for private events) and an innovative beverage menu (bespoke craft cocktails, vast selection of beer + wine); in addition to:
- four state-of-the-art Full Swing golf simulators
- other interactive gameplay such as duckpin bowling and darts
- 38 high-definition televisions — including New York City’s largest flat-screen 200-inch television (reservations-only for seats in front of the big boy)

“The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in The Bahamas [author’s note: ah, an explanation],” said Tiger Woods via press statement.
“Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favourite things and brings people together to just have a great time. We always knew we wanted to do something together, and NEXUS gave us the platform to bring our idea to life.”
Timberlake added: “We knew a concept like T-Squared Social would thrive in New York. It’s a beautiful space that transcends the typical sports bar experience. You can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort.”
You’ll also find personal touches from both the 15-time major champion and pop star multihyphenate at their joint venture, such as massive glossy snapshots of the duo in action, customised golf bags inscribed with their billion/million-dollar names, plus a varied selection of branded merchandise and coasters featuring their signatures. Not that the latter really enhances anything in our minds, but we appreciate the effort nonetheless.

T-Squared Social, presented by Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake, is nestled between Bryant Park and Grand Central Station at the grand lobby of the historic Emigrant Savings Bank (East 42nd Street, New York). The building is, of course, owned by Howard Milstein — the investor and entrepreneur behind 8AM Golf.
