Feature-length documentary The End of the Storm, touted as the definitive inside story of the Liverpool FC 2019/20 Premier League winning season, is heading to Australian cinemas for a two-day limited run this weekend.
And it’s something Liverpool fans the world over should definitely check out, given the unprecedented access to the team amidst one of the most trying times in the sport’s industry, when the ongoing global pandemic slapped a sizeable question-mark on the league.
The film, which will screen across Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December in every major Australian state and territory, has been praised for its insight into what is one of the football world’s most historic modern triumphs, tracking Liverpool FC’s journey to finally being able to lift the trophy that had eluded them for 30 long years.
