There’s nothing quite like a much-needed bit of shut-eye. But for God’s sake, I don’t think I’d ever be willing to pay some US$7,000 for it. 

Apparently others are of a different opinion, though – including one football fan currently going viral for his expensive ass nap during the LIV Super Bowl.

During the first quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers, one bloke was caught on camera catching some ostensibly necessary ZZZs. And while this usually wouldn’t be deemed newsworthy, keep in mind that the average Super Bowl ticket this year came with a price tag of US$6,982. Ooft…

Many, however, estimated that Mr Sleepytime’s ticket may have indeed cost a little more than US$7,000. As eagle-eyed Twitterzens noted that he was seated in the lower bowl behind one of the end zones. Meaning it was highly likely to have cost extra. Double ooft…

The Kansas City Chiefs would go on to earn a decisive victory against the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 31 to 20. This marks their first Super Bowl victory since 1970.
