- Sydney re-welcomes the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Finals this weekend (November 8th-10th, 2024).
- Australia’s own reigning champion Rhiannan Iffland will be competing on home turf.
- The free event goes down at Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point, against the iconic backdrop of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
50,000 eager spectators are expected to descend upon the Botanic Gardens of Sydney over the coming days to witness the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
This culmination of adrenaline-fuelled events hosted at 100 locations across the globe will see homegrown talent and reigning champion, Rhiannan Iffland, face off against 24 other world-class divers.

The challenge? Three seconds of complex (and aesthetic) freefalls from a dizzying height of 27 metres — and at breakneck speeds of 85 km/h.
Iffland has been on something of a tear recently, claiming both victory and her eighth consecutive King Kahekili trophy at the penultimate season event in Antalya, Turkiye. Which is a hell of a way to punch your ticket to a home-turf showdown.
“I’m extremely proud of my journey so far and the final being held in Sydney has kept me motivated all season long,” said Rhiannan Iffland.
“I can’t wait to put on the best show I can for friends, family and fans, and the energy at the 2022 Sydney final was incredible… If there’s one thing we know about an Aussie crowd, it’s they know how get behind their athletes!”
Could she be on for another King Kahekili trophy for the old cabinet?
