As our news feeds begin to flood with updates of the behemoth snow dumps that are hitting our compadres in Canada, we couldn’t help but reminisce to this time last year when ‘The Masquerade’ dropped – the masterful Sean Pettit clip.
This 8-minute snippet of cinematographic wizardry taken from ‘The Masquerade’ showcases the unrivalled big-line skiing of the Alaskan mountain ranges, being charged by Sean Pettit, one of the best free-skiers in the world. The waist-deep powder shots, untouched heli-runs and Pettit’s next level freestyle, all timed to Elton John’s ‘Rocket Man’, was enough to leave us somewhat keen for our next season.
