Beyond the ultra-exclusive and record-breakingly expensive supercars Bugatti manufactures, the Italian automaker has been expanding its range of lifestyle offerings, most recently with Bolide track car-inspired carbon champagne bottles, and even a pool table. The latest category to receive the Ettore Bugatti brand’s tick of approval is sunglasses with the launch of the Bugatti Eyewear Collection, which arrives with a price tag worthy of the marque.
Offering 37 different designs across nine styles, the Bugatti Eyewear Collection uses the same precision manufacturing and premium materials you’d expect from a supercar manufacturer, with materials such as palladium, 925 sterling silver, carbon fibre, and Macassar ebony used throughout the range.
The range has been created in collaboration with eyewear designer Larry D. Sands, who has previously worked with the likes of Chrome Hearts and Shamballa, over a two-year design process that sought to fuse Bugatti’s history with its contemporary use of cutting-edge materials.

“When I got the call from Bugatti, I was a little surprised, but to be approached by the world’s most powerful and luxurious auto manufacturer, to create their eyewear, was an honour,” Sands says in a statement.
“Everything I do is unexpected, and Bugatti Eyewear is some of my most unexpected work yet. Expectation is the enemy of creativity.”
All of the glasses within the Bugatti Eyewear Collection are carefully crafted in Japan and are available from a select number of boutiques with prices ranging from the relatively approachable $1,295 (AU$1,928) to the billionaire exclusive $15,000 (AU$22,340).
