After a long week of work, there’s nothing quite like smashing the “place order” Uber Eats button and opening up a tasty box of pizza shortly thereafter. But no matter how artisanally crafted your slice is, it’s unlikely to arrive in a container that looks as delicious as this Louis Vuitton Pizza Box.
Sure, Louis Vuitton is infinitely more accessible than it was when the manufacturer was only producing bespoke leather travel trunks in the 19th century, but they still put out some pretty pricy gear. You can pick up a $4,500 skateboard from the French-founded luggage firm, or if you aren’t into extreme sports and prefer to focus on a good nights sleep, there’s always a sleep mask for $1,460.
The Louis Vuitton Pizza Box doesn’t actually do what it says on the (leather covered) tin, and is in actual fact a case to store your vinyl records. Covered in natural cowhide, the 36cm square case is likely to be able to hold a dozen records or so and features the iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas print on its exterior.

Complete with gold-coloured hardware, the top of the Louis Vuitton Pizza Box sees the emblazoned slogan, “LV SOUND DESIGN AND RECORD CLUB” across its surface. Remember, while keeping your wax safe might sound like a strange thing for Louis Vuitton to cater for, the brands designer Virgil Abloh is also a DJ, so keep an eye out for this case at his next set.
We’re not quite sure who the target market is for this brilliantly bourgeois travel case, if not the ultimate answer to the age-old question, “what do you get for someone who already has everything?” If they’re in any way an audiophile, why not the perfect place to keep part of their record collection?
The Louis Vuitton Pizza Box is available both online and in boutiques, so if you’re curious, check out more details at the link below.
