RIMOWA is changing things up with the addition of four new colour schemes to their extensive range of luxurious suitcases. These vibrant tones will be available as part of RIMOWA’s Essential Cabin, Essential Check-In L and Essential Trunk Plus range.
The four new colourways are inspired by remote locations as seen through a plane window. The colours are coral, a reference to our own Pink Lakes in Western Australia; slate, inspired by the chalky tones of Indonesian mines; sage, a take on the greenery of England’s Lake District; and saffron, influenced by the yellow canola flowers of Tuscany.
It’s a nice touch to have some new colours to choose from instead of the usual silver and black RIMOWA specialise in, but these suitcases don’t come cheap. The Essential Cabin retails for $1,010, the Check-In L goes for $1,299 and the Trunk Plus for a steep $1,732.
All four colours for the Essential range will be released via the brand’s stores and RIMOWA.com on June 6.
