Perhaps Moncler’s most metropolitan collection yet, the 6 Moncler 1017 ALYX 9SM, has just dropped at the Moncler House of Genius store at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
We were already big fans of the Franco-Italian fashion house, but the industrial sensibility of this collection mixed with an overall colour-neutral palette has seriously turned our heads.
Remo Ruffini, Chairman and CEO of Moncler, and designer Matthew Williams spoke of “function and comfort” as mandatory for this lineup of modular outerwear.
Puffers, padded parkas, featherweight parka windbreakers, sleeveless vests and bonded leather pieces are all heroes of this 1017 ALYX 9SM collection, mixed with technical base layers and hi-impact accessories such as chain belts with hooks, hooded backpacks and neoprene boots with rubber soles.
