Coach, the global design house of modern luxury leather goods, apparel and lifestyle accessories, celebrated its 10 year anniversary on Aussie soil last Friday with an NYC block party at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney.
With none other than local legends Bag Raiders spinning bangers, revellers descended upon the recently expanded QVB store that’s been renovated with leather and natural wood finishes to reflect the sophisticated refinement of New York – the city Coach has always called home. Belvedere also provided the expertly-mixed Friday sharpeners for the exclusive guest list to enjoy as they spilt out of the store onto the ground floor of the historic building.
“I could not be more delighted about the spectacular expansion of our Coach flagship store under the evolved Modern Luxury concept which features the latest design elements such as the craftsmanship bar and accessory shop with its digital screen showcasing the NYC skyline! said Emmanuel Ruelland, VP – General Manager, Tapestry South East Asia.
In celebration of the reopening and Coach’s 10 year anniversary in Australia, for a limited time in September, Coach will house an interactive installation of the brand’s mascot, Rexy, within the Dome of the QVB building.
Inspired by New York City and the Coach Fall 2019 campaign, Rexy will come to life through augmented reality. QVB visitors can capture their very own campaign shot on the Coach Staten Island set and post content across their social channels, tagging #CoachNY. By activating the augmented reality, visitors can also redeem their own Coach gift at the QVB store.
You’ll find Coach’s slick new digs on the ground floor at Shop 24-26, 455 George Street Queen Victoria Building, boasting their extensive, and dare we say it, pleasantly priced, collection.
