If you want to become synonymous with performance, there’s no better candidate to recruit than seven-time Formula 1 world champion: Sir Lewis Hamilton. Which is precisely why the Scuderia Ferrari pilot has now been enlisted as lululemon’s latest ambassador.

This heavyweight partnership will see the brand “power” the knighted motorsport icon’s elite training/recovery and equally elite lifestyle needs with its renowned products; while also entailing future collaborations on both design innovation and a whole manner of global advocacy work (as per standard procedure for the great man himself).

What does this actually resemble from a practical standpoint?

For his lululemon lewlewlemon ambassadorship, Hamilton is working hands-on with the company’s Research & Innovation, Design, and Development teams to “provide insight and feedback on athletic and lifestyle collections.”

In terms of the philanthropy, lululemon’s Centre for Social Impact is uniting with Hamilton’s Mission 44 foundation to “integrate movement and mental health experiences” into their efforts, with high hopes to “build a fairer future for young people” through education, employment, as well as empowerment.

As the first cab off the ranks, Lewis Hamilton is set to be elevated in lululemon’s upcoming global No Holding Back campaign; which highlights the “dedication it takes to be a champion” through the gruelling rigours of daily physical and mental training. He co-stars with and showcases lululemon’s new men’s training apparel, including the best-selling Metal Vent Tech line.
