As we approach silly season, the creatives over at Mr Simple have once again teamed up with Melbourne Bitter to produce a stylish vintage-inspired collection that we’re guessing will soon be adopted as the de-facto east coast summer uniform.
Offering an entire range of pieces sporting modern twists on vintage Melbourne Bitter advertisements courtesy of local design team Jack & Josh – with a strong focus on Mr Simple’s signature tourist tee graphics – the fresh release represents the label’s total expression of everything “we love about Melbourne Bitter”.
“A personal favourite is the Pub Tee,” says Dave Fraser, Mr Simple founder.
“After a tough few months for the city of Melbourne, the tagline – “Now Can I Crack A Melbourne” – resonates more than ever.”
“This was originally [from] one of the old advertising campaigns and was never intended for the current state of events when we started designing the range over a year ago.”
