- Heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson has linked up with lifestyle juggernaut KITH for a tongue-in-cheek collaborative t-shirt.
- The Ronnie Feig-founded label references the “Now Kith” meme that’s also a homonym for the brand name.
- The shirt will be available to purchase this week for $120.
It’s comforting to learn one of the world’s baddest men has a sense of humour about himself.
A few years prior, the heavyweight boxing great — and Jake Paul’s latest dance partner — released ear-shaped weed gummies with former rival Evander Holyfield, playfully dubbed “Holy Ears” (a THC and Delta-8-infused reference to their infamous in-ring moment).
Now, Iron Mike has come together with KITH for a collaboration that pays homage to the meme involving the boxer’s lisp. One that just so happens to be a homonym for the beloved fashion label’s name.
The vintage-washed cotton t-shirt features a ribbed neckline and, more prominently, a picture of young Mike Tyson bringing his pet pigeons together, and the brand’s classic logo is printed immediately below. Incidentally, pigeons were the exact catalyst for both Tyson’s first fistfight and, as a result, his entire boxing career.
Available to purchase from tomorrow via the KITH site and app before hitting retail fronts the day after, a single Mike Tyson x Now Kith shirt will set you back $120. Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul, on the other hand, streams this Saturday (November 16th) at 3 PM AEDT via Netflix.
