Moncler’s Genius project has seen the Italian fashion powerhouse collaborate with a range of creative icons from across the globe, and today they’ve taken the collection to the next level with the launch of the Moncler Genius World Tour 19-20.
The world tour entails a series of events across the globe, each celebrating the launch of a new Genius collection presented in collaboration with a world renowned creative – the first of whom is Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, a man many call the godfather of streetwear. After moving to Tokyo aged 18, Fujiwara became a big name on the Harajuku fashion scene and was credited with bringing New York’s hip-hop culture to the streets of Tokyo.
Fujiwara’s Moncler Fragment collection is an ode to his love of vintage and military, combined with urban/tech references. It’s Japan meets America in a way only Fujiwara can pull off. Take a look at some of our favourite pieces below, and check out the full Moncler Fragment collection at the bottom of the page.
Fragment launches on 3rd October and is available in both Melbourne Chadstone (03 9564 7581) and Sydney Westfield boutiques (02 8964 4499). For more information on the collection, visit moncler.com.
