  • ON Running has once again joined forces with South Korean cult label Post Archive Faction for a capsule of trail-focused performance clothing.
  • The new collection, entitled Current Form 2.0, includes the ‘Cloudventure’ trail shoe — plus half a dozen apparel styles made for all-weather protection.
  • Shop pieces from the ON x Post Archive Faction range via Above The Clouds or the ON e-store.

As the global mania for run clubs continues apace, ON Running is poised to take complete advantage of the situation with yet another cache of performance gear—co-engineered alongside Post Archive Faction.

The cult Korean fashion studio (which was shortlisted for the LVMH Prize back in 2021) has built an enviable following, taking track jackets, warmup pants and otherwise pedestrian pieces of sportswear and giving them the gloss of high fashion.

Entitled Current Form 2.0, this latest ON Running x Post Archive Faction team-up is a continuation of both brands’ first drop, which debuted earlier in May.

Whereas Post Archive Faction’s own collections are often inspired by founder & creative director Dong-joon Lim’s ideas about continuously “bettering” a handful of core designs, the crux of its ON Running partnership is a little more straightforward.

In contrast to Current Form 1.0, the spotlight here is on footwear and apparel that has been developed with your next trail run in mind. Like the Cloudmonster 2 before it, this collab-specific shoe features an asymmetric upper with flowing line-work, inspired by the Limmat River in Switzerland.

Underfoot, ON’s proprietary Helionâ„¢ mid-sole (made for “softer landings and better impact absorption”) is contrasted against a thin, low-slung lug pattern underfoot: identifying these as new releases, in either all-black or a reddish ‘espresso’ colourway.

A range of signature garment styles — including the packable ‘Zero’ jacket ($380) — also returns to the collection, meaning that even if you miss out on your size of Cloudventure trainers, there’s something worth heading in-store for.
