After a legal battle with Nike to reclaim his initials/logo as he made his grand exodus from the famed swoosh to UNIQLO, tennis great Roger Federer has officially prevailed. Now, the beloved Swiss national has announced the iconic RF Cap is making a return (and just in time for Christmas).
“After a long wait and extensive fine-tuning, UNIQLO and I are extremely excited to announce the return of the RF hat in 8 fresh colours starting December 8th, 2020,” says Federer.
“This hat has meant so much to me and to my fans over the years. It has given us a way to visibly connect, and I have appreciated the opportunity to thrive off this supportive energy. I want to thank UNIQLO for this effort and look forward to seeing everyone in the near future.”

Featuring an adjustable strap to accommodate for all kinds of melons with the famous RF logo front and centre, on the back, and accompanied by UNIQLO’s red square logo, as well as another set of stitching which reads ‘ROGER’ in mirror effect, this would certainly make a pretty decent stocking-stuffer.
The RF Cap by UNIQLO will be available to purchase in select stores and online for $39.90 starting from today.
