Simply having a store filled with clothes racks and mannequins isn’t enough to get the blood pumping these days and if you needed proof that retail is evolving, you only need to see inside the LA flagship store for Supreme that arrives with its own full-sized floating wooden skate bowl. Perfect for carving up while you’re waiting for the attendant to find your size, Supreme teamed up with architects and designers to bring the vision of their retail concept to life.

Located in the historic brick building that once housed the iconic Tower Records store, the latest Supreme shop to open its doors required a collaborative effort with the New York architect Neil Logan, as well as some help from London interiors studios Brinkworth and The Wilson Brothers. The result is a cavernous warehouse space with polished concrete floors, and pained white from skirting boards to the ceiling to highlight the eccentric collection of skateboard decks and clothes, the full-size F1 car by Mark Gonzales and of course the floating timber skate bowl.

Supreme is a skate brand, after all, which makes the inclusion of the clover-leafed sculpted wooden skate bowl a perfect addition to the space and delivers a reason to visit the store even if you’re not after fresh threads. It’s currently open and if you’re keen to check it out the next time you visit LA, head down to 8801 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood.
