In 1996, Tommy Hilfiger dropped the International Games capsule collection to commemorate the Atlanta Summer Olympics. Now, ahead of the forthcoming Paris Summer Olympics, the label has dug up its archives for a 41-piece Tommy Jeans release of “timeless athletic classics” that reimagines its sporting and collegiate roots.
From track-inspired colour-blocked shorts to warm-up jackets and running singlets, the International Games capsule collection’s palette combines Tommy Hilfiger’s signature red, white, and blue with yellow, black, and green from the sporting world’s union of continents.

Highlights include an iconic rugby shirt ($249) with shoulders and arms striped in the collection’s palette; an archive varsity jacket ($399) which has been given an all-new spin in tactile cord; a modernised Chicago sailing jacket ($329) inspired by the layout of a vintage regatta windbreaker; along with mesh basketball jerseys featuring the TOMMY 85 print ($149).
Tommy Hilfiger has even cast an entire lineup of next-generation athletes to champion the flashy threads, all photographed by Juanita Richards: NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team reserve driver (and former Haas F1 pilot) Mick Schumacher, college basketball star Deja Kelly, and Japanese skateboarding sensation Aori Nishimura.

“The sporting calendar sets the cultural pulse for the year — and 2024’s shaping up to be amazing,” said Tommy Hilfiger.
“We’re building on our legacy of working with pioneers in sport and reimagining timeless American icons through an archival lens.”
