Two luxury fashion houses collided at Paris Fashion Week just recently with the announcement of a unique, gender-neutral collaboration between Italian sartorial champions Ermenegildo Zegna and California’s sophisticated leisurewear outfitter, Fear of God.
Alessandro Sartori and Jerry Lorenzo are offering “a new grammar of style” that is said to forge a path of masculine elegance that is also wearable for women.
Silhouettes and proportions have been reinvented by both brands in a continuous cross-reference from Milan to Los Angeles and back.
The collection features suits whose jackets lose their revers, coats designed with the absolute comfort of a one size fits all concept, a super lightweight suede shirt-jacket and the likes of black leather bombers.
The stylised Zegna logo, written using the font that distinguishes Fear of God, is embossed on the back of key pieces.
The Zegna x Fear of God collection will be commercially available from September 2020 through a selection of Ermenegildo Zegna boutiques, zegna.com, as well as an exclusive network of international specialty stores.
