Fresh off the back of its much-celebrated collaboration with Gucci, there’s no stopping the folks at Adidas who have just announced a slightly left-field link-up with Victorinox. The two brands have come together to celebrate the enduring appeal and versatility of the iconic Swiss Army Knife, with a special edition tool and matching pair of EQT Support 93 sneakers.
While the Swiss might be best known for their passion for watchmaking and chocolate, the Swiss Army Knife has a history that dates back to the late 1800s and until the last couple of decades, was as common to carry as your wallet and keys. Famous for its impressive functionality and efficiency, Adidas has taken a similar ethos to the EQT Support 93 sneakers, which are designed to be able to handle anything you might need them to.
Featuring an upper comprised of mesh and red suede leather, you’ll find the branding of both Adidas and Victorinox on the tongues of the shoes, as well as symbolised on the outer heel too. The collaborative EQT Support 93 sneakers are secured with a practically focused elastic lace, locked in place thanks to a spring buckle.

In line with the instantly recognisable shade of red that the Swiss Army Knife is famous for, the sneakers are predominantly red, with tan toe caps and a semitranslucent midsole unit. The super robust EVA outsole is made to keep you upright, no matter how slippery the conditions.
It’s an unexpected collaboration from Adidas and Victorinox, but one that has been carefully thought out and actually looks great as well. Arriving with an RRP of $250, you’ll pick up the sneakers and a special edition Swiss Army Knife, as well as a leather pouch for the knife and dust bag for the shoes.
