No matter how much you love running, there will be moments in your life when you’re standing, walking, or even sitting down. For all those moments when you aren’t making your way through the world at full gallop, HOKA ONE ONE has created the Ora Recovery Shoe 2, a slip-on sneaker that won’t dint your athletic credibility.

Following the recent launch of the HOKA ONE ONE BONDI X, the performance running shoe brand has dropped another compelling sneaker, which isn’t actually designed for running. The Ora Recovery Shoe 2 was made for the runner who takes their recovery as seriously as their threshold sessions – or at least enjoys some couch time as much as a PB.

The slip-on silhouette isn’t built for rigid ankle support, forefoot acceleration or lightweight running economy, instead created with the pure purpose of post-run relaxation for the feet. Executed in a murdered-out colourway that is the antithesis of the bold and bright colours of HOKA ONE ONE’s performance runners, it still has the thick-cut midsole that the brand is known and loved for.

Featuring an upper constructed out of TPU overlays, the shoes are designed to travel with you on race day, thanks to dynamic flexibility that makes them fold into any suitcase. Featuring that instantly recognisable chunky EVA midsole and a rubber outsole that guarantees grip, the HOKA ONE ONE Ora Recovery Shoe 2 are made to feel good on your feet, and look great at the same time.

With lockdowns ending around the country and more running events looking like they might actually go ahead, how’s the perfect time to start focusing on the 1%ers that’ll get you to the finish line in ship shape. The Ora Recovery Shoe 2 is currently available, with an RRP of $149.95.
