Melbourne based entrepreneur Will Carter has, like many of us, long had a love affair with hotel slippers, but after a few wears they’d invariably fall apart. Enter Monte Slippers.
Seeking something that he could he could just as easily wear down the street as lounge around the house, he teamed up with his wife Lib Hutton and created the Monte Slipper (previously known as Bertie Slipper until some legal issues), paying homage to the classic Prince Albert Slipper.
Designed in Australia and ethically produced using premium velvet and a 100% leather sole, Monte Slippers are available in three shades: Hunter Green, Mulberry Red and Peacoat Navy and priced at $145.
