French football fan or not, this Nike and Paris Saint-Germain collaboration is undoubtedly a head-turner. Considering Nike’s Epic React Flyknit 2’s do very well without the help of a club’s logo on the tongue, adding a touch of uniqueness to their shoe is set to cop some positive response.
In terms of aesthetics, the PSG Nikes say a lot without being terribly braggadocious. The midnight-black canvas can pretty much go with everything and the striking neon-pink ‘swoosh’ establishes Nike’s presence on the shoe and in the world. To remind wearers and the public alike that this is indeed a collab, these Epic Reacts have Paris Saint-Germain’s logo plastered on the upper tongue, in the same black-pink combo.
No concrete specifics have been released to the public yet, but we can expect to see the PSG collaboration pop up around select Nike stores early next month.
