Back in February this year, Nike released its first-ever retro Tiger Woods shoe in honour of the tenth anniversary of the Tiger Woods ’13, a sneaker many now hold as the best golf shoe Nike has ever made. The iconic label resurrected the kicks in their original white colourway and immediately saw success. Evidently, enough demand was there to now release a version of the shoes dressed in black and we can’t over how good they look.
The original shoe is a rare example of a player exclusive that found its way into retail and became a bonafide Nike classic. Tobie Hatfield and the Nike product team designed the Tiger Woods ’13 to mimic the feeling and performance of the Nike Free runners that its eponymous athlete would train in. It’s got a flexible synthetic upper built off a Free sole which is modified to have many flexion points for contact with the ground. They’ve also got six Softspikes to grip the fairway, with nylon straps around the silhouette’s Dynamic Fit system. The shoes are as comfortable as they are cool.

The Nike Tiger Woods ’13 is covered with the iconic athlete’s signature logo on the tongues, insoles, and heels, in the colour of his famous Sunday red shirt. It comes with its own special dust bag for your grand unveiling on the golf course. However, you’ll need to supply the club twirls and post-putt fist bumps on your own.
The Nike Tiger Woods ’13 “Black” is priced at around $358 and will be released on April 21 at select Nike Golf retailers and Nike’s website. Check out the official photos below:
