After a stellar year in 2022 that saw countless collaborations with everyone from Bodega to Ciele Athletics and even a dip into the world of performance running shoes, the team at Salomon continues to bring the heat in the new year. In a statement about the depth of the French-founded sportswear brand’s archives, however, rather than looking to a collaborator for inspiration Salomon has looked to its past for the design of the Salomon ACS + OG.
Building on its base of trail-ready designs that have been lovingly embraced by fashions cognoscenti, the team at Salomon have taken the ever-popular ACS Pro Advanced silhouette as its canvas and integrated elements of a 2000s neo-vintage design to create the quartet of ACS + OG colourways.
Available in the playfully named respective Black/Lunar Rock/Alloy, Vanilla/Ebony/Silver, Taffy/Rubber/Jolly Green and Buttercup/Olive Night/Black colourways, this fused design employs the stride-stabilizing Agile Chassis System and 3D open mesh uppers for a sneaker that’ll stay comfy all day. Unfortunately, only two of the colourways have been made available in Australia, so jump in quickly before your size sells out.
