Though Switzerland is synonymous with the luxury timepiece today, there was a good century-long period (between the 17th and 18th centuries) during which British watchmaking could lay claim to being the best in the world. Today, Bremont is working to revive this legacy, by crafting some of the best British-made timepieces on the market — with an especial focus on robust, adventure-ready tool watches.
The company was founded less than 20 years ago, but despite this youth, has already managed to set up an enormous 35,000 sq ft state-of-the-art factory at Henley-on-Thames. Affectionately known as “The Wing,” this is the largest and best-equipped watchmaking facility to have existing in England for half a century, cementing Bremont’s status as a serious player in the global watch industry.
This year, the company underwent a comprehensive rebrand, releasing several new collections in the process. With that in mind, let’s take a look at a few of the best Bremont watches in the current catalogue, from military-inspired divers to collaborations with the Williams Racing F1 team.

The Bremont Terra Nova 38 was revealed at Watches & Wonders 2024, and while not everyone was immediately convinced by its break with tradition, there’s no doubt a more affordable Bremont collection (one of our favourite watches under $5,000 right now) is a good thing.
The cushion-shaped case of the Terra Nova might not be a classic Trip-Tick case construction, but keeps a slim profile on the wrist, the dial design is easy to reach, and the oversized crown is a breeze to manipulate.
