There’s a good reason Hermès is one of the most recognisable brands in the world of luxury — because for almost two centuries, it has crafted goods that are virtually unrivaled in quality.
Celebrated around the world for its peerless leather bags, chic silk scarves, and whimsical Swiss-made watches, the Maison really is one of the very best in the business.
While bags such as the Birkin and the Kelly are typically held up as the company’s legendary status symbols and money makers, the watches produced by Hermès remain criminally underrated.

Its earliest forays into watchmaking go back more than a century, but the impressive level of craft we see today began around two decades ago when Hermès purchased a stake in the renowned Vaucher Manufacture — a specialty watchmaking studio in Fleurier, Switzerland.
Today, Hermès manufactured a range of in-house movements; is continuously experimenting with different materials for cases, dials, and straps; and offers some of the most considered and original designs in the industry.
With that in mind, we wanted to highlight a few of our favourite Hermès timepieces, available to buy right now.

- Bracelet/Strap Material: Rubber and titanium
- Dial Colour: Dark grey
- Water Resistance: 100m
- Movement: H1837

Within the Hermès watchmaking range, the H08 collection is almost certainly the most popular thanks to its eye-catching case, comfy wrist presence, and daily robustness.
It arrives in several different iterations (some of which are also on this list), but this reference with a glass fibre composite case and forest green highlights is currently our favourite, not only because of its impressive material qualities but also its under-the-radar appearance.
With 100m of water resistance, a comfy rubber strap secured via titanium folding clasp, and a solid 50 hours of power reserve, there’s virtually nothing to not like.
Hermès Cut Steel & Rose Gold
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Case Diameter: 36mm
- Case Thickness: 11mm
- Case Material: Steel
- Bezel Material: Rose gold
- Bracelet/Strap Material: Steel and rose gold
- Dial Colour: Opaline silver
- Water Resistance: 100m
- Movement: H1912
- Power Reserve: 50 hours
Hermès rarely announces an entirely new collection in any category, but at Watches & Wonders 2024, the brand’s watchmaking team revealed the Hermès Cut range.
Slightly smaller on paper than most gents are used to owning, it features a 36mm case that wears larger on the wrist thanks to its shape and the way the bracelet has been integrated.
This specific example is crafted from steel with accents of rose gold, including the bezel and centre links of the bracelet, with a case that’s almost circular and a crown in the unusual position of about 2 o’clock. It’s clean, comfortable, and just chic enough to wear on the regular.
Hermès Heure H
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Case Diameter: 30mm
- Case Thickness: ~7mm
- Case Material: Satin-brushed, micro-blasted titanium
- Bezel Material: Satin-brushed black titanium insert
- Bracelet/Strap Material: Black Barenia calfskin
- Dial Colour: Black
- Water Resistance: 30m
- Movement: H1912
- Power Reserve: 45 hours
The Heure H is a horological take on a classic Hermès motif — one we’ve seen most often expressed as belt buckles — that uses the brand’s first letter as its primary point of visual inspiration.
There’s no mistaking Hermès as the manufacturer when it’s strapped to your wrist, but thanks to its lightweight titanium construction and Barenia calfskin strap is so comfortable you could forget you were wearing it.
It’s powered by the brand’s in-house automatic H1912 movement: providing 45 hours of power reserve when fully wound, making it a no-brainer for those in the office five days a week.
Hermès H08 In Titanium
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Case Diameter: 39mm
- Case Thickness: 11mm
- Case Material: Titanium
- Bezel Material: Titanium
- Bracelet/Strap Material: Rubber and titanium
- Dial Colour: Dark grey
- Water Resistance: 100m
- Movement: H1837
- Power Reserve: 50 hours
The H08 isn’t only produced in fibreglass composite and this reference, cased in titanium with orange highlights, feels like the most Hermès H08 in the whole current collection.
Not only does it look fantastic, with the brand’s iconic orange taking centre stage, but the titanium case makes for a watch you actually want to wear daily, thanks to its lightweight feeling on the wrist.
Powered by the same H1837 movement as the rest of the range, we like the way the grained dial contrasts with the bezel polish; while the date window is so well-incorporated, you might miss it if you weren’t looking.
Hermès Nantucket Dual Time
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Case Diameter: 39mm long, 22mm wide
- Case Thickness: 8mm
- Case Material: Steel
- Bezel Material: Steel
- Bracelet/Strap Material: Natural Barenia calfskin
- Dial Colour: Oplaine silver with diamonds
- Water Resistance: 30m
- Movement: Quartz
- Power Reserve: 3 years battery life
While most dual-time or GMT watches track a second timezone via an extra hand on the dial, there’s a lot to be said for watches that simply double up on everything, from the dial to the crown to the movement.
That’s exactly what we’ve got with the Hermès Nantucket Dual Time, with twin dials that can be independently set (one of which has diamond-set hour markers), making it a great companion for frequent fliers who want a little more visual clarity at the pointy end of the plane.
Cased in stainless steel, this Nantucket model keeps a slender profile on the wrist that looks great paired with the natural Barenia calfskin strap.
Hermès Cape Cod
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Case Diameter: 33mm
- Case Thickness: ~8mm
- Case Material: Steel
- Bezel Material: Steel
- Bracelet/Strap Material: Swift etoupe calfskin
- Dial Colour: Opaline silver
- Water Resistance: 30m
- Movement: Quartz
- Power Reserve: 3 years battery life
The Cape Cod is another classic design from Hermès that’s been a part of the catalogue for many years, featuring a stainless steel case and a clean silvered dial.
Powered by a quartz movement, it’s not the most complex timepiece in the brand’s range, but it’s simple and elegant enough to be worn in almost any situation where a collared shirt is called for.
Hermès H08 In Rose Gold & Titanium
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Case Diameter: 39mm
- Case Thickness: 11mm
- Case Material: Rose gold and black DLC titanium
- Bezel Material: Black ceramic
- Bracelet/Strap Material: Rubber
- Dial Colour: Black
- Water Resistance: 100m
- Movement: H1837
- Power Reserve: 50 hours
Finally, we arrive at a heavy hitter within the H08 line-up with this model that features a stunning rose gold case.
Contrasting brilliantly against black DLC-coated highlights and ceramic bezel, it brings a deft touch of luxuriousness to an otherwise sporty package, blending wearability with the elevated styling that only comes with precious metal.
It’s paired with a black rubber strap and powered by an automatic movement with 50 hours of power reserve, all of which combine to create a watch that looks like it could comfortably belong on Monegasque polo player’s wrist.
